Hello everyone - and welcome to my third newsletter ~ My third book, A Family To Belong To, is released in North America under the Harlequin Romance banner this month. The Romantic Times Magazine has awarded it a fantastic 4 ½ stars and I'm jumping up and down in glee. See what they had to say: "Natasha Oakley's latest is a deeply emotional, beautifully told story with a sigh-inducing yet still realistic ending." My Kate gets the 'happy ever after' she deserves and Gideon is the kind of hero who happily lives in my fantasies. Do check out my web site for the Story Behind The Story and a new contest. I'm also very excited to announce that I've been nominated for the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award in two categories. For Our Children's Sake is nominated for Best First Series Romance and The Business Arrangement for Best Harlequin Romance. Both these books are still available through amazon.com and amazon.co.uk. (Easy links can be found on my web site.) In December my fourth book, Ordinary Girl, Society Groom, was released in the UK and is out now in Australia and New Zealand. Jem and Eloise have to make an emotional journey, but by the end of the book they've a new compassion for human frailty and an understanding of how small decisions can have big consequences. Of course, they've also fallen in love - which is always fun to write! An excerpt is posted on my web site. Watch out for it in North American in May. Wishing you all a fantastic 2006. Much love, |
